Testimonials from Normandi's last trip to Egypt
In a time when human consciousness longs to remember itself into being, Egypt invites those ready to share her mysteries. Her mysteries remain hidden to travelers merely there to check the "Egypt box" off their bucket list. However for those individuals innocent in their longing, quiet and still enough inside to "see" rather than look and to invite the mysteries to reveal themselves without need for mental interpretation—for those individuals Egypt offers herself with no holding back. And it's these individuals who bring hope of peace and truth back to the temples and the land. It's these individuals who walk in the safety and love of the hearts of the Egyptian people. If you dare walk this way, let your feet take you into your own longing of remembrance. Go to Egypt. I knew every second I was held and safe! I was welcomed home.
—Deborah, Spiritual Leader, Nine Gates Mystery School
I have a new sense of fertility in darkness -- that death and birth are mutual bedfellows having a deep conversation. This is what I came to Egypt for. The personal dies into a zone inhabited by the gods. Arms raise to the heavens. I emerge into my becoming.
—Sandy, PhD, California
The ibis and the ink pot – these are blessed. For as the ibis pecks along the bank for a bit of food, so the scribe searches among his thoughts for some truth to tell. All the work is his to speak, its secrets writ down in his heart from the beginning of time, the god’s words rising upwards through his dark belly, seeking light at the edge of his throat. We are made of god stuff, the explosion of stars, particles of light, molded in the presence of gods. The gods are with us. Their secrets writ only in the scrolls of men’s hearts, the law of creation, death and change inscribed in the blood and seed of man’s love. In the beginning and at the end, the book in opened and we see what in life we are asked to remember.
—From The Speeches, Awakening Osiris by Normandi Ellis
The ancient Egyptians had a beautiful concept called Hotep. It means peace eternal; and the hieroglyph that was written on the grave to indicate, "Rest in Peace" was the sign for communion with the ancestors: a chalice and a loaf of bread on an altar cloth. The Coptic Christians use the same word Hotep to indicate that something is a blessing.
In this time of our lives manifesting world peace and peace within ourselves is of the utmost importance. As we celebrate the miracle of every day in Egypt, living close to the natural and godded world, we have the opportunity to prepare ourselves as ever more enlightened beings to work collaboratively in this world for the betterment of all. And the temples of ancient Egypt stand as a testament to the fact that a community engaged and working together can create Hotep-- both as peace making and as blessing.
Maybe John Lennon said it best:
All you need is love.
During our pilgrimage together, we will travel along the sacred Egyptian land cultivating and nurturing Hotep. Normandi Ellis and Indigo Rønlov will using story, hieroglyphic divination, meditation, and direct connection to the goddesses and gods of the Egyptian Neteru to explore how to be peaceful, within ourselves and with each other, our families, and the world.
You will spend 4 nights at a 5-star Hotel located at the base of the great pyramids in Giza. You will have 9 nights aboard the well-appointed dahabeya Afandina, a private sailing boat just for our group. With visits to many temples and monuments, we will be immersed in a land filled with mystery and awe. Included in the itinerary are 3 private visits to the grand Sphinx in Giza, to Isis's temple at Philae, and a culminating ceremony in the King's Chamber of the Great Pyramid.
